Chapter 136: It is my day

Édouard looked at himself in the mirror and gazed at Charles' reflection through the mirror. The servant stepped back after putting the shoulder cape on Édouard's left shoulder.

"Is Charlotte ready?" He asked.

"Her Grace is getting ready. I have already told today's schedule to Her Grace," Charles informed Édouard, who hummed and turned around.

"This way, Your Grace," Charles said and they walked out of the dressing chamber. He waited for Charlotte to come, who came within a minute, cladded in a golden gown. His eyes glistened to see her and he smiled at her.

"Happy Birthday, Édouard" Charlotte wished him and kept smiling at her. Not enough existed words for her prays and wishes for him.

"Thank you," Édouard said and leaned down. He kissed the top of her lips in front of all their servants, bewildering Charlotte.

Charles smiled and lowered his eyes. Zoe and the other servants did the same.

"At least see the place," Charlotte said in a low voice.
