Chapter 194: Born as a prince

Before night, Édouard and the others safely reached the Lionia river region. As Charlotte got down the carriage, she saw Kenric was waiting for them. Her gaze also fell on the tents that were already planted in the ground.

Kenric spread his arms out to see Édouard and they both hugged each other. "You brought your wife too," he whispered and the two pulled away.

"It was necessary," Édouard said and turned to look at Charlotte. She bowed to Kenric, who also greeted her.

"Who is this?" Kenric was a bit surprised to see Damien.

"This is Damien, my cousin," Édouard replied. Kenric was surprised because this was the first time Édouard mentioned his cousin. "I will tell you later about it," he stated and shifted his gaze at Damien.

"Meet Prince Kenric of Aezha Kingdom. Kenric and I are best friends," Édouard stated with a smile. Damien bowed at Kenric and told him it was a pleasure for him to meet Édouard's other friend.
