The flower demon, which is androgynous, can't accept that these humans adored other beings, so it wanted to kill the wives and husbands of these humans, and even kill their children! Intelligence is a double-edged sword. Even though it can make creatures smarter, it can also make them no longer pure. For it can make creatures know jealousy, as well as hatred.
