After the drama at Qing Shui Temple, it was already night time. The streets were empty and only their slow-moving horse carriage traveled quietly along the blue stone slabs.
Considering Xin He was pregnant, the carriage naturally didn't go very fast, and they were in no hurry.
Although Mu Houchu had calmed down, he still couldn't guarantee that his mood wouldn't change and become angry again. So, Xin He cuddled up to him as soon as she got on the carriage to distract him with chit-chat.
"I heard you found out about this last night?" Xin He blinked and asked.
"Yes." Mu Houchu tightened his arm around her waist, being cautious not to let the carriage's bumps harm her.
"Then why didn't you tell me?"
"Because you slept like a pig and couldn't be woken up," Mu Houchu said calmly.
Xin He's eyes widened in disbelief, gritting her teeth, "Mu Houchu!"
