Chapter 1: CHAPTER 1: THE BEGINNING
"What happened?" said Tae-sun, then suddenly a wave of memories
flooded into his brain. "I remember now I was reading my favourite
novel when I fell asleep" he said.
An unfamiliar voice was heard saying "Pay attention everyone
we are entering the territory of the cyclopes!".Tae-sun was startled
because of the loud echo it made but was surprised when he saw who
was talking."That siver hair, unique red eyes, and fair skin. Isn't that
Duke(the son of a minor god) from the novel?" he said."Squad leader
Duke what is the plan" said one of the other teammates."He does look
like Duke from my novel but how is that possible" said Tae-sun.To
check if he was dreaming he pinched himself, he felt it was more
painful than usual and looked at his body noticing that he became a
little bit muscular, he became taller,his skin became smoother but he
was wearing light medieval armour."Wait is this not a dream and when
did I become so handsome" he said."Bryan, keep watch of the
entrance to the forest" said Duke,"Bryan is the name of the son of
Hades, was he referring to me" said Tae-sun."The rest of you follow me
into the forest" said Duke. After they left Tae-sun was arranging his
thoughts then he remembered the part of the novel where he is."In
the novel didn't Duke die on an expedition to the cyclopes' forest" he
said.
He instantly stood up and ran into the forest shouting their
names but all he could hear was silence, as he was running he bumped
into something that felt as hard as stone upon looking up he realised
that it was an adult cyclopes. Tae-sun holding his breath trying to run
away was grabbed by the cyclopes and had his left hand torn off, he
paused for a second out of shock then started screaming in agony.
The cyclopes seemed to enjoy his screams and tore of his other hand
playing with him like how a cat plays with its' food, it started flailing
him around before throwing him extremely far
away."How...am..I...alive" said Tae-sun before going unconscious.
A blue screen popped up saying" installation of 'true god
system' complete, host in critical condition entering 'control mode".
The cyclopes was running to deal the final blow destroying all the trees
blocking its' path. As this was happening Tae-sun regenerated all his
lost body parts and stood up but he looked lifeless and tired, he
picked up a stick and started sharpening it waiting for the cyclopes.
The unsuspecting cyclopes got within his range and was met by a
wooden spear to the eye, it was roaring out of anger, before it could
recover Tae-sun already pulled out the spear and pierced its' leg
causing it to fall down. Without wasting time Tae-sun climbed its'
body and started striking the heart area continously until it
penetrated its' hard skin ultimately killing it.
Tae-sun's body instantly collapsed after the fight."Enemy
killed, existing control mode. killed a lv.4 monster,
rank: category 1, rewards: lv.1 - lv.4, 12 stat points, and 20,000 gold.
