Chapter 25: Prologue – Selvenia
When the Great Shift began, a large amount of the world's population died, and countless villages were wiped out along with the weaker towns.
Followed by the Mana Plague, almost all towns were then destroyed after all of its warriors and mages fell victim to it, and those who weren't cured by the Healers.
The people who Treaded the Path of Restoration were called Healers, and they were rare. As very few Restoration oriented Guidance Methods existed, those who became healers were very crucial existences no matter where they went.
And for the places where not a single Healer was present, lost all means of defending against the waves, and were soon wiped out while the survivors migrated into the larger cities and towns.
And so, as more and more people moved, the towns that had managed to survive without losing its warriors and mages, grew even bigger, as it in turn gained more people who craved strength.
However, these places are very few as an average kingdom would only manage to save its capital city, a city where the royal castle is located, and the Kingdom of Selvenia was one of them.
The formerly flourishing capital city of Selvenia, was flooded with refugees within a single year, and it had grown tremendously in size.
It was now divided into four parts. The Royal Palace, the Inner District, the Outer District, and the Slum District.
The Royal Palace was a place where the royalties and those related to them, resided in full luxury and wealth.
The Inner District was the entirety of the capital city of Selvenia before the Great Shift, and it used to flourish, but now it had become a place where nobles resided. The commoners inside had long been bought of their lands, and/or were driven out.
The Outer District, was the place where the commoners now lived, and it was a place ruled by nobles who had yet to give up on their ambitions for power.
And the Slum District, was the district that existed outside the walls. It was a district where the strong ruled over the weak, and a place of daily murder and crime.

15 Days after departure.
In the outskirts of the Slum District. A young man with blonde haired young man. He had greenish blue eyes, and his sharp eyes made onlookers immediately look away the moment he looks at them.
Beside him was a young girl with long blond hair that shone the same colour as the young man, and her pure white skin, had a pinky blush into it, and her flawlessly delicate face was shown for the world to behold, while her long white royal gown was untainted with any other colour as it gently fluttered in the air
"Hey, Valle. Do you think he's here?"
"Carlos?"
"Yeah. That crook."
"I don't know. And I'm not sure.
The young man, Lancell looked around with nostalgia in his eyes as he muttered with a bit of smile.
"Selvenia. I'm back."
