I get the feeling like it’s someone summarizing a story than the actual story itself. The pacing is very fast and inconsistent. A bunch of details are shallow or out right skipped. It makes the characters feel like cutouts rather than people. The premise is simple but really lends itself to exploitation in the best of ways. The mc takes it and builds himself around it beautifully. It makes him powerful without making him perfect. However, after awhile he starts getting things handed to him and it gets boring. I’m not against the mc getting op but I want it to be something that they work for, even if it’s not that much, as things falling into their hands too much is just lazy writing.
