Chapter 296: The Great Elder

The plants Marcius had summoned had a name.

They were called the Thousand Maws Trees.

But, in reality, those things were nothing like a tree. The Thousand Maws were more akin to a mess of vines and roots grouped together. The only thing the Thousand Maws had in common with a tree was the fact that these creations had a core trunk at the center from which the vines and roots spread out. Even then, it was like a wooden circular core with, you guessed it, a big f**king mouth attached. Said mouth had numerous sharp teeth and a big entrance. This was the characteristic from which they got their name Thousand Maws Tree.
