Chapter 234: Simmering Rage

Marcius rhythmically tapped his fingers on the surface of the table he was sitting at, as he watched the argument that erupted in front of him. He was currently sitting down for a meeting with all of his council members as soon as the next morning after the assassination attempt on said members of the council had occurred.

Almost all of his council members were present, even Leon who was usually out of the Flavic sector because of his duty as the one in charge of the Regional Guards of the Mediolan county. In the last months, the Regional Guards had seen a great increase in their ranks as even the Aemilia clan and Marcius's father had decided to make the Regional Guards the official army in charge of the entire region.
