Chapter 36: The search

(THIRD PERSON'S POV)

"Did you just hear what he said? Can you believe this?" Aztec asked Steele.

Steele looked shocked at his Alpha and then he turned to the little pup, Finn. He crouched so that they could look at each other, eyeball to eyeball.

"Now this is some serious talk, little one." Steele said. "Are you sure about what you are telling us?"

Finn nodded.

"Yes. I'm quite sure." The little one replied.

Steele straightened his posture then and I nodded at one of the maids.

"Let the little one have whatever meal he wants prepared." Aztec said and then with a soft look at Finn he said. "I will see you soon."

The little one nodded and followed the maid and a guard out of the room.

Aztec poured himself a drink while he watched Steele pacing about until he stopped right in front of Aztec.

"You believe him. " He said in a surprising tone to Aztec.

"I do." Came the answer.
