"I know that so well, which is why I made sure to have Rukiya here. If you are a pretty little white wolf trying anything, I will kill you and then kill her. Or do you think that just because you're mated, it makes her untouchable? 

"You, Rukiya Greyson, are Hawi's bane. Literally," Atticus said with a sinister laugh. He seemed so convinced of all this and for a moment, Hawi looked at Malika, her eyes full of questions for her protector. 

Hawi was new to so many things as the white wolf but as Rukiya's mate, there was only one solution for her. She would save the girl, even if it meant losing her life in the process. 

Life hadn't been a path of roses for the both of them, but Hawi wasn't going to let go.
