Chapter 2: I will be the Strongest Swordsman!

Tristan actually regrets buying those two swords because, besides being handsome, they are nowhere near as good as the Free Item, the Snow Chaser, given by the system. He thought that the sword would match his temperament, so he wasted points buying them.

He was also forced to buy another sword, the Sandai Kitetsu, without knowing where it came from. He didn't use the two 'useless' fifth-grade swords and the fifth-grade sword that came from his father. He also didn't try using the 3-Sword Style in a crisis because, compared to the 3-Sword Style, the 2-Sword Style was his forte. Especially when memories of a person from Earth appeared in his mind - that person was left-handed.

Being left-handed and right-handed means he is an all-rounder. The Snow Chaser and the Sandai Kitetsu (Cursed Sword) give off a terrifying aura, as if they want to kill anything, but Tristan managed to suppress it.

Thanks to this, they managed to kill their enemies, but unfortunately, his third leader didn't survive. Tristan carried the body of his senior until he reached station 92.

After returning to station 92, Tristan discovers that there are troops planning to assassinate him and cause trouble. Fortunately, there is a sentry and another guard who are able to control them.

After this incident, Tristan is detained in prison for one week.

Upon being released from prison, no other team is willing to recruit Tristan, as if they are afraid of something. They believe that Tristan is bad luck. There are also rumors that Tristan was actually the one responsible for the death of his senior and that all of his statements were just a ploy for attention as a victim. Some say that Tristan may have even killed one of his comrades to cover up the crime.

Upon hearing the rumors about his alleged involvement in his senior's death, Tristan severely injured anyone who dared to spread the false accusations about him, resulting in another detention for a period of half a month.

Upon being released and seeing that no one was interested in recruiting him, Tristan went into the forest alone. He also refused to accept an invitation from a certain group due to a grudge between the two parties.

A few months later, Tristan made significant progress and reached the Senior Stage, alarming his opponents with his rapid advancement.

Six months ago, when a hunter team attempted to assassinate Tristan, the "Training Field" helped him to ease his exhausted mental state. The cat-and-mouse pursuit lasted for two days, until Tristan and the hunter team encountered two Leoporos Enhanced Grades who were mating. The Leoporos became enraged at being disturbed and attacked Tristan and the hunter team.

This was Tristan's chance to fight back. He was fortunate not only because the other experts were water element users, but also because he managed to breakthrough the first form of Thunder Breathing. Water is at a disadvantage when facing lightning.

Tristan was able to sneak attack the Leoporos and the Expert Stage Hunter, killing them both with a single strike. After the female Leoporos saw the death of her mate, she became enraged and attacked Tristan. Tristan thought that this would be the end for him, but the system reminded him to use the Bloodline D.

Thanks to this, Tristan was able to kill the enhanced beast and the Expert Stage, earning an additional 1,300 points - 800 for the expert stage and 500 for the enhanced beast. This brought his total points to 15,000+ which was enough to buy the Bloodline D., which was worth 15,000 points.

At that moment, Tristan felt an influx of endless willpower, instinct, and power boost in a crisis, which allowed him to kill the female Leoporos. In exchange, Tristan received a scar with a scratch mark on his body and bruises on other parts of his body.

After that incident, Tristan's appetite increased and he was able to heal his body within a few weeks, except for the scratched mark on his body. Tristan also noticed that his strength increased as long as he ate.

No hunter group dared to provoke Tristan, and even his previous enemies were afraid of being implicated by him.

Because of this incident, Tristan earned a new nickname: the "Black Swordsman". This was not only because his surname was Black, but also because the color black is often associated with being bad, due to Tristan's bad temper and the unlucky circumstances of those around him. Tristan was seen as evil because anyone who spoke badly of him would also be in trouble.

It has been over a month since the incident occurred and Tristan has accumulated 5,000 points to buy the Berserker's Blood Ability.

The Berserker's Blood Ability is similar to Tristan's previous unique ability, the "Hand Rush", but with the added benefit of boosting attack speed and elemental resistance as long as Tristan is injured.

With the combination of the Thunder Breathing technique, Bloodline D., and Berserker's Blood, Tristan is now able to fight normal and enhanced beasts. He was able to quickly accumulate points to buy Namikaze Minato's Reflex Talent Card for 7,500 points, which further increased his power and made him stronger than other Senior Stage users.

Within just 3-4 months, Tristan made another breakthrough and reached the Late-Stage Senior level. He has also accumulated over 20,000 points until today.

As Tristan reflects on his past, he can't help but sigh and laugh to himself.

"Hahahaha, I'm really strong!"

[Tsk] The system rolled its eyes, even though there were no eyes.

(Why, system, you had a problem?)

[Nope]

(I think you have)

[Whatever]

[You already have more than 20,000 points, do you have anything you want to unlock?]

Tristan looks at the remaining items, particularly the three Great Grade Swords, then at his points. He glances at the "Dark Repulser" and "Elucidator" and every time he looks at them, he feels a desire to destroy them. If he hadn't bought them, he could have already purchased two Great Grade Swords. These swords not only caused him trouble, but also didn't help him in times of crisis.

"Damn, I wasted 3,800 Points!"

[Hoho, didn't you say before as a future Sword Grandmaster, only that sword can match your aesthetics and greatness, what now, you're taking it back? What a double standard]

(Shut up! if you advise me at that time, would I waste my money buying that?)

[That's actually not a waste, at that time if you're not focused on the appearance of the sword, blindly fight a form without essence, and fight rashly. If you try to find the meaning of your sword and calm yourself, even a wooden sword can be used to defeat your enemies. You were lucky to break through to the Intermediate level at that time, otherwise you would have died with no bones remaining. Maybe God pitied you and gave you a chance.]

(Could you please stop your philosophical teaching again? How many times have you said that to me? I already know, I understand, I've got it already.)

[So, don't blame your sword. It's not about the sword. There's a saying that there's no useless thing, only useless use- Eh...}

(SYSTEM! I WILL KILL YOU!)

[Hohoho! Kill me? You can try brat! Come on, I will just appear here in front of you, come on baby kill me!]

(YOU BASTARD!)

[Are you angry? Are you angry? angry? angry? angry?]

(F*ck, I'm done.)

[Playing time is enough, hurry up and buy your weapon]

(Who's playing with you? And hoho, are you in hurry? What if I don't buy it? Are you angry? angry?)

[Hohoho, you had guts brat! If you don't buy, then don't buy. It's a pity for GREAT GRADE swords, it's a pity.]

Tristan gritted his teeth looking angrily at the system.

[What a great sword, you know it's a GREAT GRADE, it's a pity, your master doesn't like you, he likes his 3k swords more than you hahaha]

(You bastard, I didn't say that!)

[You said you don't want to buy? Then don't buy, let this GREAT GRADE sword stay with me hahaha]

(I didn't say that I'm just asking!)

[Whatever, hurry up and choose!]

(Shusui!)

[Tsk... You had guts huh, I advise you to choose Wado Ichimonji! You cannot handle the other two]

(This... That plain looking?)

[Tsk, you are still obsessed with looks right, tsk... tsk, you really don't learn anything. Do you think a Great Grade Sword was just plain looking?]

[Have you seen your memory? I think you can see that the Wado Ichimonji is the most mysterious and low-key sword that Roronoa Zoro has.]

[If you purchase the Enma or Shusui, you're just wasting your points because you can't use it. You're just making a wedding dress for others. Once a high-rank enemy targets you... ho hoo.]

(Fine, fine, I got it. Wado Ichimonji! As a person who's got Roronoa Zoro's Template, you must have this sword!)

[Ding! Are you sure you want to buy this item (Wado Ichimonjij)?]

(Yes!)

[Ding 22,400 Points – 13,500 Points = 8,900 Points]

[Ding! Congratulation, you've unlocked Wado Ichimonji!]

(System Hurry up give it to me!)

[Fine, Here]

Suddenly, a glowing light in the form of a sword appears in front of Tristan.

It is a long, white, sword-shaped katana with a Japanese-style hilt and a white scabbard. There is no doubt that it is the Wado Ichimonji.

Tristan is excited and immediately takes it out of the scabbard. He can see the clean white blade, which reflects his face like a mirror.

But suddenly, the blade begins to shake.

Tch...tis..tchis...

"Wha-What? System, what happened?"

The sword tries to loosen itself from Tristan's grip, but he holds on tightly.

[Don't just stand there and do nothing! Feel it in your hand, it seems to want to say something.]"

"Ok!" Tristan immediately closes his eyes and feels the sword.

(Strong... Strong... Strongest... Strongest... Swordsm... Swordsman... Strongest)

"Strongest Swordsman? It wanted to be the strongest swordsman?"

[There's no doubt that the sword might have the will of Kuina or Zoro. If you want to conquer it, you must promise it sincerely, or it will reject you.]

"Oh, why it's so troublesome?"

Tch... tch...

The Wado Ichimonji continues shaking.

[It cannot be called a 'Great Grade Sword' for nothing. Actually, among all the Great Grade Swords, the requirements for the Wado Ichimonji are the easiest. If you choose the Shusui, it might check your qualifications, and if you choose the Enma, it will eat and force you to release your willpower.]

"Che... Why that Shusui was demanding? It's just 12,500 points"

[That's because it's a 'Black Sword', which means it has already reached the limits of its potential. While the Enma and Wado Ichimonji have not yet reached their limits and still have the potential to reach Supreme Grade.]

"Supreme Grade!" The eyes of Tristan shine with full of yearning.

Tch..tchh...tchis..

Tristan looked at the Wado Ichimonji and said "I will try my best to fulfill your requirements. I will be the strongest swordsman!"

Tchh...tchhh...tchh

"What?"

[Try? Try? What will you try? Is it not easy to say 'I will be the strongest swordsman'? What do you mean by trying? Where did your guts go? Didn't you say you will be the most arrogant person above heaven? An arrogant man is just trying? Wado Ichimonji, Wado Ichimonji, can you hear me? This man said he will try his best to be the Strongest Swordsman, will you accept it?]

Tchh..Tchh..Tch...

Upon hearing what the system said, Tristan felt embarrassed. His face turned red as he looked angrily at the system and shouted "It's just a mistake, I didn't mean to say that!"

[Hoho]

"Wado Ichimonji, don't listen to it. I promise you, I will be the strongest swordsman!"

Tch..Tchh..

[Where's your Sincerity?]

"Wado Ichimonji, as long as I live, for better or for worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and In health, I promise you I will be the-"

Tch..Tchh

[My God! Tristan are you proposing to the sword?]

Tristan's face was blushing and said "Could you please shut up, I'm doing my best!"

"Wado Ichimonji, I promise you, even if I have to go straight to the hell of fire or into the den of Disaster Beasts, I will become the strongest swordsman in the world. I will take on any challenge to fulfill this promise. If I cannot keep my promise, I will kill myself using you!""

Then the Wado Ichimonji stopped.

Tristan smiled and said, "Please advise me!"
