Spheris didn't have the time to lament the loss of his sword, lying down there on the ground, he was in immense pain. The Knightbeast's crushing blow had caused millions of reverberations through his bones, his spine felt like it had cracked and his head throbbed with thunder.

Trying to find his vision which had been blurred from the impact, Spheris fought against the hungry agape mouth of the Knightbeast. The fear of getting eaten alive kept his mind remained sharp, and he struggled to pull back against its ferocious force.

When three more jumped into his island, joining in his slaughter, Spheris gave up quickly on trying to overpower them. He reached out with his hand and opened his palm, eyes squeezed with desperation.

Umbrage surged from deep within his Soul Core, flowing out like a flood of shadows. The will of his shadow bound activated and all the way down, down, through the clouds and lower to the meaningless earth, the Power Blade was still falling.
