Kinsley’s POV

Feels like ages have passed beside us, but nothing has been said or done, that could change my innate recession. I’m too far in my mind now, about everything, that the mere idea of saying it to Terron terrifies me.

He will reject me, he will see through my flaws and I’ll be forced to be cast out of another home, missing another chance at being rescued and loved. It’s never going to change. Life is cyclical and when Terron finally sees that I’m useless as a Luna, and even more so as a wolf in his pack, then I’ll be back under Ace’s thumb.

The romantic dinner Terron had planned fell flat when we came back to the house. I couldn’t stand being in that room, thinking of that woman who is better suited as his mate kissing him, even if he claims it was nothing of his desire.
