Chapter 68: Chapter 67
After resting for some time, Vincent have his meal with Iris, that was the most delicious meal ever for him, he can't able to control himself taking glances at Iris while eating.
"Is...is something wrong Prince Vincent?" after a while Iris start have consciousness over herself, as The men sitting in front staring at her tine to time or maybe its her imagination but she can't stop herself from asking out loud.
Seeing the confused look on his beloved, made him want to say 'Yes, something's wrong with myself'
He composed himself, then shook his head lightly and said "Nothing's wrong, the food's good"
"Its pleasant to know that prince Vincent liked it" Iris show a slight smile.
After the heartily dinner, Iris pardon herself to rest early. Vincent also made his way towards the Chamber to rest, on his way he suddenly stopped.
He turned his head only to saw the beautiful gardan, he subconsciously walked towards it he saw a white bench, he thought for a while before siting down.
His mind seems to take him to that day when he was sitting like this on a similar bench, when he felt the presence of her behind him, staring at his back.
Thinking about that time make the corner of his lips turns upward, his gaze land to the sky full of stars but his mind seems to be living again at that moment.
'I'm here for you Princess.... I never forget you, nor did the promise I made to come to see you in that church, I've found you that day at your celebration but still couldn't able to be beside you. But I'm finally here'
"This seems familiar" he heard her voice, her smooth, soft voice. He suddenly have a smile at his face again.
"It does...." he said with hidden joyful expression, turning his head over to see her with still a small smile.
Iris got stunned when he turn his head over and his ruby red eyes stare at her's, his eyes seems to brightened all of a sudden or maybe its her own imagination.
"How about sitting with me Prin..... ah I mean her Majesty"
"Hmm, well you can address me as before, it also doesn't feel good to let the Crown Prince of Valeria to call me Her Majesty" Iris said while walking towards the bench.
This time she truly doesn't pass through him and sit on ground but she stops besides the bench and pause for a second before sitting next to him.
"So, I was right. You're that masked prince, its good to meet you again"
