For the time being, he would let things calm down first. He didn't want to make a scene and make Ivy worry.

"If I may ask, what facts did you come across to say that father and mother had an affair with each other, Ivy?" asked Theodoric.

"They slept together. I have heard and I saw straight out of curiosity," answered Ivy.

Theodoric was increasingly determined to drive his servant and the maid away. He did not even think that his father and mother could do such an insult.

He chuckled as he shook his head. Now his mother was sick and he had vehemently refused to take care of her because of the deep disappointment in both of them.
