Chapter 125: Eavesdrop: New Trouble

CHAPTER 125 

Pearl fumed and stormed off to bed. Without a care in the world, she plummeted down recklessly and folded her arms underneath her blossom. 

"It feels as though he would always use the fact that he is worried for my safety to keep me out of battles. Does he think I am feeble?"

She did not need someone to answer that for her and already knew. 

"Tsk. I would prove to him that I am not."

She scanned around, a bored sigh escaped her lips and when she brought her gaze back again, her eyes landed on the window. 

The cool afternoon breeze blew into the room, sending chills of fresh air to her skin. Pearl inhaled, relaxing just a little bit when suddenly her brows snapped together.

"Huh?" She opened her eyes again, her gaze directed back to the raised curtain blinds to the open window. 

She was about to speak when a thought crossed her mind. "Hehe."
