Chapter 29: Foxes love babies

Amara walked out of the dance room and clenched her jaw. She berated herself for losing her cool but seeing Leech with his hands around Raven's neck triggered something in her that she had trouble suppressing. She was not proud of this, but when it came to the dragoness, she didn't want to show that kind of weakness. That's not what her teammates needed now. In a few weeks, they were going to have the fight of their life, and they needed to trust that she would lead them to victory so they could return home. They needed to believe that, or it would be for nothing, and everything she'd be trying to do this time around would come to naught.
