Chapter 126: The Text From The Commissioner

Scarlett's eyes widened seeing a text from the commissioner and frowned in horror reading the text.

TEXT: I HAVE FOUND OUT WHO BROKE INTO YOUR VACATION APARTMENT, IT WAS NONE OTHER THAN BUT SCARLETT'S FATHER.

Scarlett read the text in absolute horror. Her heart palpitated in fear and her hands shook in fear. 

Her eyes went to the sleeping figure and wondered what he was hiding from her. Ezra wouldn't hide something like this from her right?

She gulped her lump before setting the cell phone back to where it was. Then walked back to her bedside and slipped inside the comforter.

Her eyes questioned looking at him. 'What are you hiding Ezra? Why couldn't you trust me knowing this?'

Did he feel sick because he was under pressure all this time? Was he taking all the heavy load of hers on himself alone?
