Chapter 60: Be My Redemption

"Ricardo raped me…" Before he could complete his sentence Scarlett dropped this bomb on him.

"What?" His heart rate grew hearing her words. His ears almost didn't believe what he heard.

She wailed again saying, "Ricardo raped me again… it disgusts me Ezra. It disgusts me!"

Scarlet kept on crying as Ezra lay frozen holding her tightly to himself. It's too much to hold the pain in. He wants to scream, he wants to destroy anything that comes in front of him. He needs something to vent his anger on.

He feels utterly helpless seeing how broken Scarlett is. Ezra can never imagine the pain she went through and knows nothing about how to comfort her. Make her forget this pain.

"Scarlett, I'm sorry." Ezra whispers to himself.
