We stepped inside and parted ways as Jace turned into the hall to take a seat and I headed for the parlor. I turned around for a moment, seeing his smile that managed to build my confidence. He looks handsome and dazzling under his shirt and tuxedo! Oh, Geez. Focus, Elsie.

  The waiting room for participants is full. I walked over and sat in front of the big mirror, looking at myself. My cheeks flushed from the cold. The heater in this room doesn't seem to be working properly delivering heat to all corners of the room. I closed my eyes just to focus my concentration on one point. Light relaxation.
