Chapter 108: About the Baby

 Elsie got into her car with a sad face. Her lips curved downwards, her blue eyes twinkling dimly. I don't know when he stopped thinking like that. It felt like every second she had spent sitting looking at the window with the raindrops slowly falling, brushing against each other, soaking the oak frame, creating a peaceful smell that filled her lungs. Rain always leaves memories in her heart. Both bad and beautiful.

 Her hand slowly touched her stomach. It took a lot of stakes to keep the growing fetus in her stomach, even though Nathan repeatedly ordered her to abort the innocent baby. Elsie sighed softly every time she remembered her first brother's annoying face screaming, cursing at her, courting her with Delvin and Cleo at the long dining room table.

 "And you think I'll tolerate you, Elsie?" Nathan's tenor voice resonated, bouncing off the walls of Elsie's head, making her wince in annoyance at the memory. "You've done a lot of stupid things so far!"
