Chapter 1: WHEN I WAS BORN
Iam call eryama anthony ongwech born on 02/02/1995 in a district call Gulu in Uganda as a country
When I was born I was also given one name , "Ongwech" which means Running in by the acholi people in Gulu
I was given that name (ongwech) because of war that was happening in Uganda by those years KONY JOSEPH was the leader or the person responsible for the killing that was happening in Uganda by then .
we had many things, eg. Land, houses, shops, farms but my parents decided to leave it behind and run away to save our and their lives , KONY JOSEPH had no mercy , he could burn, slaughter and beat people
My parents decided to run to a nearby district cause they couldn't not reach to another country by footing
Imagine footing from another district to another district with all your family ,with no food, no water ,no anything, you get water when it rains ,you get food when you kill wild animals like rats , antelopes , crocodiles and wild birds also
So that's the way they use to survive cause even UNITED NATIONS could not manage because of the large number of people
My parents told me that for them they footed from that town of GULU up to Masindi district with no security (government support) cause the media by then it was radio station , always used announced the safer place for the people to move (migrate)
