As he gazed at the counter full of ingredients, female waitresses stole glances at him from time to time, while male chefs cast mocking looks his way. But this young man, Akira, was unfazed by their ridicule.
A young, blue-haired waitress approached him, patting his back gently. "Akira-chan, you need to wake up! If the manager sees you like this, you'll be in trouble."
Her sweet voice caught Akira's attention, and he opened his golden-amber eyes, giving the girl a dazed smile. "Yotsuba-chan, I'm not sleeping. I'm just thinking about the perfect dish."
