"It's time for the first act!"

As the Head Minister and Sylis slowly came into view, I knew my time to strike was about to be reached.

"What do you want, Sylis? I hope you realize the danger of coming all the way out here with someone like me."

As the pair walked closer and closer, their conversation was now audible and I listened closely to it. The voice that I quickly identified as the Head Ministers was slightly horse, but it still came off as sinister.

"I'm sure you know that I hold information that could destroy your position within the church. If you don't want that to happen, then you should just follow me quietly."

Following the old man's threat, Sylis responded with one of her own. I was actually quite impressed with how this girl was handling this situation, but I continued to listen to their conversation as they walked closer and closer to the tree I perched on.
