Chapter 256: Take Little Riceball With You
The air turned stagnant in the face of the incoming danger.
Without paying Kyoya's fury any attention, Jay continued languidly, "Choose who you want to be my hostage. Clear the path. If you dared to block me, I would send either your wife or son's dead body to you as a Christmas gift."
Kyoya gritted his teeth. This man was pushing his luck! How could he make a choice between his dearest wife and precious child?
"Kyoya! Take Little Riceball!"
Shouko yelled from the place she was detained. She knew well enough that Kyoya was hesitating. His struggle was what she understood. Jay was forcing them to make a cruel choice.
"Take Little Riceball with you," Shouko resumed before Kyoya could protest. Her expression softened when she glanced at their son who was looking at her and Kyoya in turns, "Little Riceball has something for Daddy. He must give it to Daddy himself."
