Chapter 89: She Wasn't As Youthful As Five Years Ago

That morning, Kyoya handed Shouko a file.

"Show this to your sister," He answered when she asked him what it was. "Tell her everything. It's hard but you know you have to do it."

Shouko nodded sullenly. "I understood."

Kyoya rubbed her head lovingly. Today was going to be hard on his wife but it was something inevitable. He could only hope she wouldn't blame herself after revealing everything to her sister.

"After you met your sister and if you're not tired, why don't you come to see me next?" Kyoya twirled her ring finger as he said so with expectation in his eyes. "Maybe, we could go for another date tonight?"

Shouko giggled hearing his almost pleading tone. "Alright. Let's do that!"

Kyoya beamed. He left to work in a good mood.

Shouko shook her head helplessly. Last night, they argued but made up with each other so soon. Today, he was as bright as the sun hanging above their heads.
