Chapter 42: Chapter 42: Rescue Gone Bad

Weston watched as Perry walked around the property, doing random chores as if he didn't just attack Sasha and have Felicity held captive.

He walked from building to building but was never inside long enough for Weston to follow so he just kept the same spot, watching and waiting.

He caught a whiff of Felicity in the wind. It made him crazy not knowing for sure where she was or if he would find her alive if he rushed through every building trying to find her right now. He had to have patience. He could tell by her scent she was still alive, and he wanted to keep it that way.

He heard Perry's cell phone ring.

"Yeah," he said as he held it to his ear with his shoulder while he continued doing what he was doing.

Weston turned his ears up and toward Perry. He held his breath to hear the conversation on the other end better.

He didn't quite recognize the voice, but he could tell it was one he had heard before.

"Do you still have her?" the voice asked.

"The captain?"
