Chapter 18: Chapter 17 : Rampage
5 minutes passed since Satoru had left and Karoi had finally finished concocting a potion. A potion to 'save' Jinn. It's purpose is to suppress Korama, the part that's locked inside of the boy.
He got up from the circular wooden chair and made his way out of the chilly cave, up under the bright sun that shone and walked back into the Ember village, seeing multiple destroyed houses, charred ground and hurt civilians.
"So it's begun." Karoi noticed, looking around and seeing a destroyed part of the wall, a crack, beginning to run and go through that opening in the wall.
Birds began to fly alongside him traversing, while he was following the destroyed and charred grass, trees and boulders.
Focusing on what the birds were chirping, what they were saying, Karoi had been let known about the enraged and unlocked beast that took control of a boy and even some other children that are attempting to stop him.
It wasn't long before he got to where they were, seeing the beast just about slam punch Zankoku through into tree line, with Kazumi forming a sign with both of his hands, rising a circular fire wall around the beast but it ran through it with no issue, swiftly right at Kazumi.
In a reflex he put his hands up, still being clawed by the beast, by Jinn, with the skin on his arms being torn off and blood dripping on the floor, making Kazumi wince.
Karoi blasted it with a lightning beam, stunning it and running to it.
It didn't even look like Jinn anymore, but did hold the size of his body, with red matter skin and demonic red eyes just like Korama's original including the claws and running on all 4's.
Pulling the potion out from his pocket, he threw it at the taken over boy, knowing it surely is going to land on him and revert him back.
Halfway to him, a fireball was launched at the potion, breaking it and having the liquid splatter on the ground. Karoi turned his head to see someone had purposefully broken it.
"Of course. And who the fuck are you?" Karoi asked the figure standing in the shadows, being pissed off that his quick and simple plan didn't work.
Feeling the energy spike up, the beast created a smaller, basketball sized, red orb bomb and fired it off at the sensei in front of itself.
"For fucks sake..." murmured Karoi, immediately using Thunder Breaker and forcing the red orb bomb to explode upon the lightning striking it, blowing up the ground below in a 20 ft radius and creating a smaller shockwave from that.
The sensei walked through it and accelerated at the beast in a sudden burst of speed, appearing in front of it and kicking it upwards in the face, slightly lifting it up from the ground from it.
Grinning, he quickly performed a spinning tornado kick that hit the beast in the stomach area and sent it flying from the force of the kick through the tree line.
Karoi ran after it, being quicker than the beast which was practically blasted away by his kick.
He got behind it and side kicked it into a tree, making it fall back onto it's legs.
It jumped at him, aiming to slice his face and throat with it's sharp claws. The sensei moved out of the way, turning towards the beast that had missed it's strike now growling at him.
"Aren't you a feisty one?" he taunted it, even smiling as he punched the ground and performed True Thunder on it, stunning, electrifying and burning it before it could make it's next move.
With his other hand, he also punched the ground.
A wind tornado appeared around the beast, cutting it up and picking it up in the air.
"Guess we'll need to beat the feistiness out of you.."
Karoi released both of the abilities and as the beast was in the air, he jumped at it, flying side kicking it through multiple trees and it landing on the ground after being stopped by one of the trees.
It stood back up, angered now more than before, beginning to roar and run at Karoi, jumping at him with the intention of clawing him up again. Reasoning for this being as it's in a mindless state, where it has basically no intelligence whatsoever.
He caught it by the throat and observed as it tried to bite and claw him, not being successful.
From it's mouth, a red orb bomb started to form and Karoi had first row seats to it.
"Shit..." he said in a rather unexpected and same time quieting tone, releasing a sigh afterwards.

"Oi Kazumi you alright?" asked Zankoku, having returned back to the location where the 20 ft radius explosion was.
Kazumi winced as he checked the cut up forearms and told him : "Yeah, I'm fine! Thank god that sensei Primal arrived!"
"Yeah!" Zankoku replied, turning and looking at the direction of where Karoi and the beast went of to fight, noticing something going up into the sky, it looked red and it exploded suddenly, making them both realize that it's one of those bombs.
Out of nowhere, the beast was flung up into the air from the tree lines too, with Karoi jumping after it and axe kicking it down near the two students, not only cracking the floor from it's landing but even sending it into the floor itself.
Kazumi and Zankoku were shocked from this, wondering if they should do something and harm the beast or remain on the sidelines and do nothing while sensei Primal takes care of it.
From the air, Karoi launched Thunder Breaker at it and burnt it even more, causing it to roar louder than just now in the tree line.
But having the opportunity, since it was stunned, the sensei landed on it's stomach with his feet and even knocking it out after it spat out blood from his impact.
The energy from it began to fade away, with the beasts features fading as well, returning it back to Jinn who didn't have any of the injuries that Karoi inflicted upon him in his enraged beast state.
"Is he okay now, sensei?" asked Zankoku, who approached him and looked at his brother, feeling sorry for him.
Jinn wasn't a troubled child, nor was he very powerful but he was talented in the arts of his clan, the speed clan, as mentioned before. He possesses the same techniques that his brother does and hopes to become a warrior that's capable of protecting the nations from both rogues and monsters.
That itself is not a title, but a want, a desire... It's something that many children dream of, especially those who lost their parents to monsters or rogues. And this way, they have a way to fight for something and help others at the same time as grow stronger.
"Yeah. Take him to the hospital" he quickly replied to his student, beginning to walk away to find who destroyed his potion on purpose while Zankoku slightly yelled out to him : "Yes sir!" with Kazumi helping him pull Jinn out from the ground.
Karoi felt a presence.. An energy.. It put him off, but he immediately vanished into the tree line and followed from where he sensed it for that brief moment before it vanished.
Feeling the air become hotter, he noticed scorched grass as he emerged from the trees, seeing the thunder and Satoru's unconscious, cut up and beat up body, with blood basically covering his entire face.
A few inches away from him, there were multiple sand spikes there too. His clothes were torn and the feel for his energy wasn't there at all. It was basically like he was dead.
