At first, Rhea pushed the racing thoughts to the back of her mind. She got in the car and they began the drive back to the hotel.
Arras noticed her silence, “Are you alright?”
Rhea nodded quickly, ‘Yes, I was just thinking about the opera.”
“I will take you to the hotel tonight, and I’ll pick you up tomorrow once you’ve packed your things,” Arras finally said, glancing carefully at her. “If you still wish to stay at the Manor.”
“Oh yes, I still do. I don’t have much to pack. All my stuff was lost by the airport, so I only have a few outfits until I go shopping.”
Arras rubbed his eyes.
“I guess it’s my turn to ask if you are alright?” Rhea questioned in concern.
Arras shook his head, “My contacts are bothering me. I’ll be alright.”
Soon, they arrived at the hotel and Arrax helped Rhea out of the car. He walked her to the door of the hotel, and pleasantly said goodnight.
“I had a wonderful time tonight, Arras,” Rhea said. “Thank you for bringing me.”
