Chapter 238: New Flare 4

Matthew and Lily walk around the Williams family's mansion with Snowy. The dog looked very happy when Lily let go of the leash. He immediately ran around Lily while sniffing whatever was nearby.

While walking around the Williams mansion, Lily and Matthew didn't let go of their hands. The two exchanged stories and how they had felt over the past few months.

"Are you better now, Matt?" Lily asked Matthew.

Matthew took a deep breath and stared at the road before him. A path flanked by trees that are starting to turn yellow. "I think I can control it now. Do you think I'm scary?"

"We all have monsters inside of us, Matt. You didn't mean to kill them. Don't talk about that anymore. It would help if you didn't keep feeling bad," Lily replied.

"I'm sorry," said Matthew. He then hugged Lily and kissed her cheek.

Lily softly laughed as Matthew kissed her cheek. "Just be yourself, Matt. I love you just the way you are."
