Klaus wiped the blade and also his brother's lips, and patted his head affectionately as if he had been a good boy for taking everything. It exasperated Alexa.
Only then, the First Prince answered her question,
"What am I? I don't know."
The Princess watched the effects of the 'medicine' on her husband's body. Alexander's cheeks seemed to become pinker and it agitated his breathing for a moment. As well as his heartbeat, gradually returning to normal.
"This is incredible…!"
"Incredible? I don't know," Klaus chuckled bitterly, sinking his head back into the pillow and looking at the canopy ceiling. "But if it helps saving my brother, then it can't be totally bad. Maybe I just have to be what I am and pay the price for it."
I'm nearing the end of the first arc of the novel, and I'd like to vent my disappointment.
As stats say, 70-80% of the people who have this book in their libraries still read it every day. It's a lot. I should be proud of it. It’s a hell of a big number. It’s about people following and waiting for your update daily.
But, MMSP doesn't receive the same support. It doesn't receive 1 vote from every active reader per day. If it did, the novel was in the top 100, perhaps even top 50. When I look at such numbers I feel my hard work publishing every day, and skipping lunch for it, is not worth the effort.
You guys like other novels better. It's your right, I'm not against it. I only wonder why people keep daily reading novels they don’t like.
And, again, I wish to stress my appreciation to the dear readers who made it worth. You know who you are! Thank you very much.
