Chapter 1: Prologue

Everything was dark. And cold. I looked around me, but it was so dark that it looked like my eyes were closed aside from my own breath. Sounds smells, and even feelings were too hard to distinguish. Like, I no longer had them, but that fled the moment I heard my best friend's voice. "Max! Do something, please." She sounded full of pain as her voice cracked. "Please, I beg you." Rayne was holding me I think, I knew she was near me with her sunshine warmth, and summer breeze conditioner. "Look Princess, this is not easy magic. And I'm not strong enough to cast it." it was then that I could feel the wind blow harder, carrying the man I love scent with it. "What are you doing here?" asked Max, I could feel his arms sweep underneath my body and lift me up to his body. There was nothing said after that just soft brushes of the wind. "Come, Little Rose. It's time to come home.
