Chapter 24: "You Are Mine, Evelyn"

The tailor left but Rex stayed.

His eyes were full of interest as he looked at Evelyn and Regan. Elias and Evelyn both never understood the meaning behind his gaze.

But Regan did and he only felt irritated…as well as angry.

Angry at this silly and stupid girl.

"Your Highness, should I bring dinner?"

She asked him politely but he could see the hope in her eyes. As if she knew that he was angry at her.

Good…she should know.

"No need."

He said coldly as he moved towards his bed to look at the documents which were waiting for him since the morning.

Evelyn frowned in confusion, now sure that he was angry with her.

But she didn't understand why?

Unconsciously she couldn't help but look at the other two men inside the room, hoping that they would help her.

However, Rex shrugged his shoulders, and Elias…she could feel the blame pouring out of his eyes for her.

After all, it was because of her Elias' master was not having his dinner.
