"You possess so many strengths, yet you choose to be hard on yourself. You haven't changed at all, Emma," Bright muttered to himself, his gaze lingering on the doorway through which she disappeared.

After Emma left Bright's office, Nina approached her with an inquisitive expression. Without wasting time, Nina ushered her into a nearby table, gesturing for her to take a seat. Her raised eyebrows hinted at a mix of curiosity and concern.

"What did you two talk about? Please don't tell me you were getting coached because of your absence yesterday," Nina questioned, a worried undertone in her voice.

Emma responded with a reassuring smile, "No, everything is in control, Darla."
