Poe is an orphan that always dreamed of exploring the big world and after reading a book written by a great mage, Poe makes it his goal to become the greatest mage ever. After gaining access to the system like everyone does at the age of 15, Poe leaves the little elven village he grew up in.
All to become the greatest mage the world has ever seen, but first and foremost tasting all the great food in the world!

Heart warming, the women and the fact that Poe cross dresses get annoying quickly though, as well as that so far they haven't found out Poe is male, because the novel is so heart warming I forgave it but there is one chapter where at the end it says that Poe and Lucia go to the public bath together yet shows no sign of Poe's gender being exposed to the sisters, also, author update the novel I need more warmth in my non-existent heart..... some of you have dead hearts or icy black hearts..... how do I heart?
Having read all the current chapters, I've really enjoyed the progression of the characters in terms of abilities. I'm really looking forwards to more updates. Though it's been 1 month since the last update :/
Hello everyone, 'The Mage Poe' is not best fantasy novel, but it is best 'slice of life + fantasy' novel in my opinion. +I didn't read slice of life type novels before, due to this my example will be an anime which is 'Natsume Yuujinchou'. This novel reminds me it a little with the feelings it reflected. I felt relaxed while reading. +Character design and story development, hmm okay i'll give another example. Character explainations, skills.. The manga 'The Gamer' has similar things like; mana skills, level with killing monsters, able to check other people's levels and specific status of them. +World background a little lacking but i believe this will be better in future chapters. There are not even 30 chapters yet. +Writing quality and updates everyday 5 stars. +Poe is a cute and naive little male elf who wanna be the very best, like noone ever was. So he begins his adventure and there were many interesting suprises in story which i didn't expected. Really suprised me so i can say at least this point makes this story better than dozens of others which you can predict every next chapter-novels. If you like slice of life type, i suggest you this slow paced novel. But if you wanna destroy everything in your way with cruelest methods and wanna watch countless dramas, you must go somewhere else. I hope there will be people who can enjoy this story like me.
