Chapter 46: Fleeting life

While Autumn leaves falls,

She waited at the train station.

The longing,

The zest,

The test,

The pest,

After enduring so much,

She stare at the piece of paper in her hand,

She realize, it was all for nothing.

She cannot be at a train station

With a flight ticket.

She picked up her old frail coat

And walked away sadly.

Sophie could feel the heavy weight of the fog settling around her, wrapping her up in its embrace. It was a foggy morning and she would rather be on her bed wrapped up in her sheet but the information she had heard the previous night had deprived her of sleep and rest entirely.
