Chapter 69: BackUp

Sofie sat with her legs crossed in Don Ralph's office, waiting for her cousin to arrive, She was with Don Phillip and Caleb, They had arrived about two hours now and were waiting for Don Ralph who had gone out for a meeting.

Don Phillip sat on the couch, smoking his cigarette and staring at the wall. Caleb sat in a chair beside him, looking pale and sad.

"Do you want anything?" Belle asked trying to break the silence that was clouding the room.

"No. We're fine". Don Phillip said faking a smile. Sofie had met Don Phillip before, and she knew him to be a jovial and outgoing person. But today, he looked different. He seemed lost in thought, and his eyes were red-rimmed. Sofie knew why. They had told her the reason they came the moment arrived. A reason she was finding hard to digest. Elle had been kidnapped. She was trying her best to keep her cool despite the news she heard.
