"You're so self centered." I laughed and he pouted. "I honestly cannot believe that you never knew Claire likes you. She's been all over you and everyone in the pack knows." 

"Is that why you weren't happy when I told you that I wanted her to be my queen?" He asked me and I sighed. There was still so much that we didn't know about each other and we haven't even had the time. I took a step back causing his hands to fall of my body. "Come on, you have to tell me and I'll tell you something." 

"Yes and that's why I tried to run away. I thought if I ran, it would take a while before you would find me and it would make it harder for you to pick Claire as your Queen." I explained, feeling the heat rise to my cheeks. "I was stupid then."
