The next month was draining, to say the least. I was either in mom mode, attending Luna classes, or handling Luna duties. I hadn't had any alone time with Khali since we told Caspian about us, and the weight of my new responsibilities was starting to feel heavier by the day.

That night, after our dinner with Caspian, I filled the crew in on our evening with the King. Everyone was eager to hear how Caspian took the news, and I couldn't help but smile as I recounted his excitement about the King becoming a part of our family.
