After following Lady Julliane's direction, Ava and Matthew found the secret room just underneath the statue.

It had some spells that require the presence of the key. And since Ava already have the key, it only took them a few minutes before they finally arrived in the room where Lady Julliane kept her family treasure.

"This— " Ava gulped at the sight of the things inside the room. Well, it wasn't exactly a room but a hall. It was a large hall with a dome-like ceiling and walls made of marble and gold. On the floor were golds and various pieces of jewelry. The thing is, it looked like Lady Julliane just decided to dump everything inside without even putting them in safe storage.

"She must have thought that I would never find a mate," Matthew said.

"Reasonable…" Ava picked up a ring with a purple stone near her foot. "It's enchanted."

An enchanted ring that would protect its owner.
