It sounded very amazing to hear that and almost unbelievable, to say the least, after Hope heard Kace's explanation about his mate who turned out to be a guardian angel, which was herself.

Hope knew she was different from other people and since she had been living with supernatural creatures for her entire life, and could see them when other people couldn't. Thus, Hope was not too surprised to learn that she was one of them.

A guardian angel…? Hm… sounded cool!

But, there was something that piqued her interest the most from Kace information.

"Why did they go extinct?" Hope asked with a furrow between her eyebrows. "Are there other creatures that are also extinct?" Hope kept asking.

Kace stared down at Hope, who was lying on his lap. "No," He said curtly.

"Is there another reason why only guardian angels are extinct?" Hope could feel Kace's peculiar mood the moment she asked about this.
