"Was that the shadow warrior that was paired with you?" asked Torak impassively. His face was showing the kind of expression that was devoid of any emotion. Raine wasn't sure what Torak might feel right now. She had no idea how he could guess it correctly, when she was certain that she had never said anything about it to anyone until now.

At the moment, what she felt right now, was a rush of fright. She was afraid to answer him, as she didn't know what Torak's reaction would be. And her cowardice made the question even harder that it remained inside her head, she couldn't even bring herself to answer it.
