Chapter 4: Yeah, Baby, Take It Off!

Here is what happened last time on The Legends Of The Time Traveller

I run into Sheila and Stacy, the two girls that Terry and I might be swimming with later on in the spring later on. Stacy likes me and gives me a kiss. I am trying to explain to her why the water might feel like it is hot. I assemble the radio and take it back to Mother Jenna's room for her to show me how to operate it. She shows me how the radio works, and I am happy to test what I can use the radio.

I leave Mother Jenna's room and head straight back to the lab. I put the box down and hide it below the table. I remember the promise I made to my sister, and I charge her flashlight's batteries. I walk back to my whiteboard and start planning. If the laser cut music to a cd, then if I increase the power directed at the laser, more power means the thinker objects the laser can burn through. I start making the calculations and see that the generator has more than enough power to assist with the cutting of the supplies.

What if I can convince the scientists and get them on board with the laser cut idea for my project. I can tell them that I need it for the air filtration and purification system, then maybe they will not have a problem working on it. But how do I explain to them where I got the radio? That is it. I will have to work in secret on this as well. I decide to walk to my room and hide the radio under my bed. I hear the whistle going off, which means I am off for the rest of the day. I decide to find Terry and maybe get something to eat. As I am walking to his room, I bump into Sarah, my sister. She asks me;

"So, big brother. Did you find time to recharge those batteries that I need?"

"Yes. The batteries are currently charging."

She smiles and says;

"Good. I want to explore that new section early before everyone is awake yet. I am going to take another flashlight just in case."

"You need to be careful. You don't know what are down those sections. Maybe you can catch The Blood Plague, and you will bring it here and kill us all."

"Do you really believe that?"

"I don't know, okay. I am just worried about you."

"You don't have to be. Once I explore a section, I wait for an hour before moving back here. If I do catch The Blood Plague, I will die there. So don't worry, brother. Who knows what I might find. Anyway, what are you up to?"

"I am looking for Terry. He wants me to join him and the girls for a swim later on."

"Wow, brother. Practice what you preach."

I look at her confused and ask;

"What do you mean?"

"You talk about me living dangerously. If the scientist finds you swimming, you will be the one in trouble. You do know that you are swimming in our drinking water?"

"There is more than enough freshwater coming out of the earth for us to drink. Did you see Terry?"

"Yes. That last time I saw Terry, he was talking to Sheila and Stacy."

"Thank you, sis. When are you coming to get your flashlight?"

"Leave it in your lab. I come and get it from there. Please excuse me, I have an early morning tomorrow, and I need my sleep."

She grabs me and gives me a kiss on the cheek, and walks away. I turn around and start looking for Terry again. I finally find them sitting underneath my water distribution project. As I am walking towards them, Stacy sees me, jumps up, and comes running to me. She jumps into my arms, and I hold unto her. She says;

"You came! It is so good to see you again."

"You saw me an hour ago."

She kisses me on the lips and says;

"Come. Join us."

We walk hand in hand to Terry and Sheila. Terry laugh and says;

"Wow. Look who found a way out of his lab?"

I tell him sarcastically;

"You are so funny, Terry."

He smiles and asks;

"So, did Dr. No-Good scream at you again?"

Stacy looks at me concerned, and ask;

"Was it Dr. John?"

"Yes, Stacy. It was Dr. John, and he did not scream at me. He just reminded me of the importance of my work."

With a smug face, Terry says;

"To me, it sounded like he was shooting down yet another great idea of yours. I mean, look at this water distribution thing you built. It supplies water to the plants based on the dampness of the soil. Did any of them think of this? No."

Stacy gives me a tight hug as she hears how Terry is holding me in such high regard. I say;

"Thank you, Terry. I am happy that there are people who see what I am doing and appreciates it. But, what Dr. John did was he only reminded me of what I am supposed to do."

Terry jumps up and says;

"Speaking about things that we are supposed to do, who is with me?"

Terry jumps up and starts undressing. Sheila get up and say;

"Yeah, baby, take it off!"

She also gets undressed. In a panic, I look around to see if someone might see us. Terry, standing in his underwear, and tells me;

"You will never truly live if you do not do what scares you the most."

He screams as he jumps into the water with Sheila following him. Stacy tells me;

"I will do it if you will do it."

The other two screams at us;

"Come on. You are wasting time."

I look at Stacy, smile at her, and start undressing. Terry screams;

"Yeah, Michael. The water is fantastic."

Stacy grabs my hand and leads me into the water with her. We swim, play and have fun in the water. After a while of playing in the water, things start quieting down. The four of us start up a conversation and enjoy this time with each other while being in the water. I put my arms around Stacy, pulling her closer towards me, and our half-naked bodies touch each others'. The sensation of my forearm making contact with the top part of her cleavage starts exciting me. She notices my excitement growing and pushes her buttocks against my half-erection sending chills up my spine.

I try to follow the conversation, but my thoughts is filled all of a sudden with other thoughts. She playfully makes circular movements with her buttocks until my erection is rock hard. By now, I have missed the entire conversation and have not followed a word they were saying. She grasps hold of my index finger while she guides it under her bra. She uses my finger to play with her nipple. I almost can not contain myself. I open my hand and touch her firm breast while massaging gently. She lets the back of her head rest on my shoulder as I start kissing her on the cheek. Our breathing is getting more hurried. We hear a voice behind us;

"I heard some people say that they need to check the water, get out...quick."

I turn around frantically to see who it is. It's Sarah, my sister, coming to warn us. She says again;

"Get out. Quick!"

We all swim out of the water, get our clothes, and hide behind the water distribution system. We hear voices approaching the system. Dr. John is talking to someone, and he says;

"Clarke is doing wonderful things for us. But, I am worried that he will not finish his project in time."

Stacy leans in to quietly tell me;

"They are talking about you."

I start to listen to what is being discussed between them. The unknown voice sounds muffled. I can hear it is a woman. The lady ask Dr. John;

"How much time do we have before things get worse?"

"If I could guess, a month, maybe two. But we are already starting to feel the effects?"

"Dr. John, it is your responsibility to get Michael to focus on the air filtration and purification system. You say we have a month, that means in two weeks, we will start to get headaches, and from there on, the symptoms will only get worse when the productivity starts declining."

Sheila's foot slips and a piece of rock falls on a pipe, causing a loud bang. Dr. John asks loudly;

"Who is there?"

The lady with the muffled voice tell Dr. John;

"Come. Before someone sees me here with you."
