Chapter 17: Jealousy

The next day you decide to wear a knockout outfit to work. You feel that maybe Jack was delusional to just let you go. You're going to make sure he doesn't want you anymore. You arrive at the office. You put away your purse and turn around.

"Hey, Lilly." The familiar sound of Jack's handsome voice.

(Goddammit! He looks so hot!)

"Hey, you feeling better?"

"Much, thank you. How have you been doing?"

"Me? I'm fine."

"Good...well, have a good day then." He walks to his office and stops at the door.

You're bending down to get "something" from your bottom drawer. He stares at your body, up and down. You look at him and he turns to walk into his office, but he missed the door and walk straight into the wall.

"You okay Jack??" You try to contain your laughter. "Oww..yeah, just a small bump."
