Chapter 48: Forgive And Forget

JACK POV

I open my eyes and I realized that I fell asleep in Lilly's arms it was morning and now it is already night. It seems like I have slept an entire day. All I know is that it is the most peaceful sleep that I have had in a very long time. I feel as her arm is wrapped around me tightly as if she is afraid that I might run away. Of course, she has every right to feel that way as I did not reassure her of my love for her.

I turn around in her arms and I look at this angel's face in front of me. I remember the crazy conversation that we had just a few hours ago and the dumb conclusions that I jumped to. I also remembered that she did not give up on me for one second. How is it possible that I could have such a wonderful person in my life?
