Chapter 12: Chapter Twelve: The Scroll of Internal Light
The princess of beauty, went, followed by the four knights; To a large cave in the castle gardens, its stones sparkling in brilliance.
Tapping a certain area of the cave, the wall that was guarding the entrance, opened; Allowing them to enter inside.
"Light of The Sprites, guide our sight", She called, raising her palm.
Instantaneously, like a torch, she held within her palm, a light, to help the slightly darkened cave, to shine beautifully.
Having now, a better view of the perimeters, Avery admired the green emerald crystals which cling to the ceiling and walls everywhere.
"My lady, you have chosen a great haven to stow away the scroll", he commented.
"This cave was crafted by both my mother and father before they birthed me. It was not made for the scroll alone, but here, I myself was born", She answered turning around to smile at him; The lights from the crystals sparkling in her eyes.
"Could not have done better work", Boru also commented.
Making their way down through several spiraling passages, and Sasha herself, ordering for the door to the innermost cave to open; They went inside.
Within the brilliance of the smaller cave, placed on a golden pedestal on a marble of stone, which rested in a small bed of water; Stood the Scroll of Internal Light.
"Now brave Prince, if so you are the chosen one, the scroll will become bright, and alight from its resting place. Within it, you will see the ancient text of legend", Spoke the princess, gesturing to Avery.
