The night before the final meeting of resolution in the deliverance of Princess Sasha, ruler of Stashashon; The young Avery had an alarming dream. Within his imagination, he saw himself, climbing to the top of Azackton's tower; And breaking through the window in a surprise attack, ultimately saving the princess.
Falling in love with him as well, his imaginary thoughts carried him into escorting her away on a white stallion, where they married in a beautiful chapel.
This, readers, is the dream in which our hero fancied himself in.
In the morning when he opened his eyes and sat upright in bed, he was sorely disappointed to realize that it was all a figment of fiction.
"If only my dreams would become a reality. The gem, my princess, had fallen for me. Oh, if only it were true!"
Avery covered his face with his hands and wept uncontrollably.
Recalling that the meeting with the other knights to decide on a plan was beginning shortly, he quickly dressed and went downstairs. Thoughts raced in his head, all he could see was his lady Sasha, who didn't love him back. His heart hurt him inside, swelling with deep emotions.
"If I have to go alone to Azackton's tower to make her love me, I will. I would die for her affections."
"Good morning son", the King welcomes him, as he entered the room.
Not noticing, his father's words, the Prince silently takes a seat by the mighty Toru.
"Avery?" Toru asked, nudging him with his elbow.
"What?"
"Your father spoke to you. Did you not hear?"
"No."
"Son, are you alright? You appear a little out of sorts. I could see your mind was elsewhere as you walked in the room", King Zarash, worryingly said.
"Oh, I'm fine. Let's begin the meeting."
