Chapter 281: Samar's Growth

Firang was left with no means to attack or defend but he was still a true Tier 3 Spirit King with over 45,000 HP. His agility and his natural defenses allowed him to survive Samar's onslaught. 

The Archer had spent over 15 minutes chasing after him. He had used every kind of arrow but the Tier 3 Summoner dodged half of them with his superior agility. Knowing he could not win, Firang decisively abandoned the Caravan and escaped into one of the tunnels, avoiding his fate of death. 

"Shit!" Samar cursed, as his prey escaped into the tunnel. There was no way he could continue the chase underground, where an Archer like him was most at disadvantage. 

Nonetheless, his efforts were not wasted. His opponent may have fled, but he had fled in defeat and the System still rewarded Samar for this victory.
