Chapter 205: Trapped

Ida paused for a moment. She didn't know how to respond at first. She has silently observed everything from the sidelines, trying to remain unseen while assisting Sierra to the best of her abilities. 

She bit her lip, "You would make a great Queen, Your Grace. Regardless of which Kingdom you oversee. I don't know much about politics or the rules for it but… what's stopping you from being the Queen of both kingdoms?"

She knew Ida was right. Before Alistair left, he'd informed her of the most shocking news she did receive in a while. Roxine had put her plan in place earlier than anticipated and in a way none of them saw coming. 

The position of Queen in Drakin was empty. But right of succession, the Noble Consort in line would take the seat. That meant Cassandra would become Queen by right. Sierra crossed her arms, deep in thought. 

Was she ready to contest that?
